FAQ
Your questions, our answers.
What Azul does, where your data goes, how it is installed and what it costs: the answers to what we are asked most often.
The product
What Azul does, and what it changes next to the tools you know.
A general-purpose assistant knows neither your schema nor your definitions, and offers no frame over your databases. Azul is built to query your data, with your rules.
- Your business, learned onceThe context, gathered at onboarding, is shared by everyone: the same definitions for the same metrics, so the same figures for each person.
- A technical frameRead-only, a scope chosen by your administrator, and every query checked before it runs.
- You decide who sees whatTeam by team, you choose which databases and which tables are open. With custom roles, your SSO and an audit log.
- Sovereignty over your dataApplication and AI model hosted in Europe, with none of your data retained, from a French software company: nothing like data pasted into a consumer assistant, on its terms.
They are excellent reporting tools, once the dashboard exists. Azul covers what happens before and around them: the question that does not have its dashboard yet.
- Asked in plain languageBy someone who cannot write a join, with no ticket and no development.
- A query at the sourceNo in-memory copy to load, size and refresh: current figures.
- Built around AIBusiness context and safeguards are designed for an agent, not bolted onto an existing architecture.
- ComplementaryYour current dashboards stay in place; Azul answers the questions they do not plan for.
The figures come from your database, not from the model: the AI writes a query, your database computes it. And that query stays visible and checkable.
- Your definitions, not its ownOnboarding gathers your churn, your margin, your business rules, and the agent uses them in every answer: the same question gives the same figure, whoever asks it.
- The SQL on displayEach chart’s query is one click away (“View SQL”): an analyst can review it.
- It says what it computesThe agent states the period, the scope and the comparison it used. When information is missing, it asks you rather than guessing.
- A context that growsCorrect the agent in conversation: it remembers. Its memory, personal or shared across the workspace, serves every following question.
Your databases, your files, your documents and your business tools, brought together in one conversation: the agent queries them and cross-references their answers.
- Your databasesPostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle. Several databases in one workspace.
- Your filesCSV exports and Excel workbooks, imported with the AI’s help and queryable like a table.
- Your PDF documentsFor business context, or to extract rows from them (invoices, quotes, statements). Scans are read too.
- Your business toolsCRM, ERP, ticketing, in-house tools: any API, connected directly or through MCP.
Azul does not copy them: each question becomes a targeted query, run on your database. The volume is whatever it already knows how to serve.
- Nothing to preloadNo in-memory copy to build, size or refresh.
- The database aggregatesOnly the result comes back: the agent works on aggregated results, never on a copy of your tables.
- Queries written by an expertThe agent always looks for the most efficient query: the right filters, the right joins, the computation left to the database. And every query stays bounded in time.
- If the database is the limiting factorWe help you with our integration partner: read-only replica, indexes, sizing.
It is kept and shared: a chart joins a dashboard, an analysis becomes a report, a threshold becomes an alert.
- Dashboards that stay currentThe useful charts, gathered and refreshed automatically: every hour, day, week or month.
- Dated reportsAn analysis written by the agent, with its charts frozen at a date: the document you send to the board.
- AlertsYou set a threshold or a condition on a metric: as soon as a refresh crosses it, the people who follow it are notified by e-mail.
- Shared in your workspaceDashboards and reports are shared with the members of the workspace, according to their permissions.
Your data and security
Where your data goes, what the AI model sees, and who can access what.
It stays in your databases. Azul queries it read-only, and you choose the level of isolation.
- Hosted in EuropeIn the cloud, the application runs on Google Cloud, in Belgium, and the AI model is hosted in Europe.
- Nothing is retainedThe AI model, hosted in Europe, retains no data after the answer, and your data is not used to train the models.
- Only Azul reads your databasesWith the read-only account you create, on the tables you open and no others. The AI model never connects to them.
- On your premises, if you wishIn hybrid mode, Azul is installed on your infrastructure. Full on-premise, model included, is designed with you, to measure.
No. Your data is not used to train models, and the AI model, hosted in Europe, retains none of it after the answer.
It sees the question, your business context and result extracts, never your databases themselves.
No. Azul queries your databases read-only, and every query is checked before it runs: a query that would write, or step outside the chosen scope, is not run.
- Your databases intactQuerying your databases remains a read: nothing is ever written to them.
- A scope you chooseOnly the tables your administrator exposes can be queried.
- Your production preservedEvery query is bounded in time: no analysis drags on over your database.
- Your access rights, the last lineAzul connects with the read-only account you create: its rights remain the limit, whatever happens.
Everyone only sees what your organisation opens to them, and your IT keeps control of access.
- Separate workspacesFor each team, you decide which databases and which tables are open to it. You only see the workspaces you belong to.
- Custom rolesBuilt permission by permission: who asks questions, who publishes, who administers.
- Your SSO and two-factor authenticationOIDC federation with your identity provider, authenticator app or passkey.
- An audit logLogins, users, permissions, database access: sensitive actions are logged.
Deployment and integration
Where Azul is installed, what it takes to connect it, and how long it takes to get started.
Both. In the cloud, the Azul application is hosted in Europe, on Google Cloud in Belgium, and the AI model is hosted in Europe too.
To keep the application on your own infrastructure, the Enterprise plan offers a hybrid installation, delivered as Docker containers. Full on-premise, model included, is designed with you, to measure.
Yes, within the frame you set: your databases stay read-only, and actions are limited to the business tools you connect.
- Your tools, via API or MCPCRM, ERP, ticketing, in-house tools: you choose the ones the agent may query.
- Only the actions you authoriseCreate a ticket, update a record, schedule a follow-up: nothing beyond what you have opened.
- Everything is loggedEvery action in a tool is recorded in the audit log.
- Your databases intactQuerying your databases remains a read: nothing is ever written to them.
Not to ask questions: they are asked in plain language. An administrator is needed to connect the databases, and we do it with you.
- No SQL to writeThe agent writes the query, has it validated and draws the chart.
- Onboarding led by the agentIt reads your documents, explores the schema, then asks you the questions it cannot guess.
- A scope chosen by the administratorThey create the read-only account and choose the exposed tables.
- Hands-on supportConnection, configuration and business workshop with your teams, alongside our integration partner.
The length of a pilot on a real use case: a question that matters, your data, your teams.
- Nothing to install in the cloudAzul connects to your database with a read-only account.
- No model to buildThe business context is gathered in a few hours with your teams, rather than in weeks of workshops.
- A pilot in three stepsChoose the use case, prepare access to the data, test Azul.
- Then the rolloutGo-live and user onboarding, supported end to end.
Pricing and support
How Azul is billed, and who supports you.
A licence per user per month, in two tiers with the same features: Standard, and Premium with five times more AI usage. The Enterprise plan is tailored to you, on our European cloud or on your infrastructure.
- Fewer modelling daysOnboarding by the agent replaces a good share of billed workshops.
- Fewer requests to ITBusiness teams answer their own reporting questions.
- No infrastructure to addNo cache server and no copy of the data to host, size and maintain.
- A pilot to judgeValue is measured on your use case, before any commitment.
Yes: a 30-day free trial, no credit card required, with every feature and up to 5 Standard users.
When it ends, your workspace’s admin adds a payment method to continue: only the licences you created are billed. Without one, access is suspended and your data is kept.
See pricing and the trialEvery question asked to Azul puts the AI model to work: exploring the schema, writing the query, commenting on the result. That usage is included in the subscription, for every user, every month.
Premium includes five times more than Standard. If a team goes beyond it, its usage can be extended on request.
Anyone with an account on your Azul workspace, whatever their role.
Yes. The tier and the number of users can be adjusted during the subscription: talk to your contact, and billing follows.
Our integration partner, STERE INFORMATIQUE, supports you from scoping to deployment, on your data and with your teams.
- ScopingThe use case that matters, and the data that answers it.
- Data connectionThe read-only account and the scope exposed to Azul.
- Configuration and business workshopYour definitions and business rules, gathered with your teams.
- DeploymentGo-live and user onboarding.
The product’s youth is also its responsiveness: a new version every week, and a need that is not covered studied with you.
- A version every weekThe product improves continuously, in the cloud and on site.
- Your need, studied togetherA missing feature can arrive in a few weeks, not a few years.
- An integration partnerSTERE INFORMATIQUE supports scoping, data connection and deployment.
- A pilot to judgeValue is measured on your use case, before any commitment.
